The Hyperion! In season 5! Squee! This is so perfect, such a beautiful moment, as they realize where their true home is.
As he shows her just what he means, Fred realizes that she’s not bored anymore.
Her mother would be proud.
Such a lovely fade out!
3. Fruit – the apple. . .sort of a symbol of forbidden fruit. . . Wesley and Fred’s secret relationship.
Not to mention the apple which Eve gives to Angel in "Conviction," representing the corruptive nature of Wolfram & Hart, which Wesley and Fred escape by returning to their initial Edenic paradise, the Hyperion Hotel.
These weren't required but I added them in: Hope that's okay with Alixtii!
If I didn't want you to be creative about the assignment, I'd have written it myself! I think what you've done here works quite well.
a. A smidgeon of snarky Spike.
Well, who could object to that?
b. References to Illyria's imminent coming.
Ooh, foreshadow-y goodness. Enriching the fic is always a good thing. I am ashamed, however, to admit that I didn't actually catch the foreshadowing. Was I not reading closely enough?
