Apparently so. So I guess you have to wait until a story is finished to praise it? Maybe you can leave comments on chapters? This is the first time I've noticed the kudos limit.

I keep forgetting about the one-judo-per-story (or fan art) limit for some reason. (mind like a sieve over here.) But you can comment on all of the chapters, and even comment on one chapter more than once, so there's no limit in that regard.
